As an on location pet photographer based in Lincolnshire I specialise in using natural light and using the beautiful surroundings we have available to us to create beautiful portraits of every furry animal imaginable...and the occasional fish. Every pet is unique, they all have their own individual personalities and quirks and this is what I love to capture as a UK pet photographer.

My own pets include a jackadoodle puppy called Harry, a guinea pig called Meelo, two rabbits called Luna and Molly and three budgies. Animals are a huge part of my life and my day isn’t complete without cuddles from my animals. They really do become members of the family and it is so important to treat them as such, either by including them in your family portrait session or by booking them a shoot of their own. A Paws & Claws pet photography shoot is so much fun, I usually get very dirty in the process from spending much of my time on the ground with your pet and I feel so privileged to be able to provide you with treasured images of your pet.

Dogs are often the most popular to book for a pet photography shoot; we can take them to their favourite walking spot and I will accompany you taking both candid images of your dog enjoying their walk and having a great time as well as beautiful portraits (usually when he/she has tired themselves out a bit) that will capture the unique essence of your dog. I love to use our surroundings when capturing your dog at play, and living in the Lincolnshire countryside we never have to go too far to be welcomed by a host of fields, trees and lakes. I adore photographing horses and would happily travel to your stables or field to photograph them wherever they are most comfortable to avoid any distress in order to create relaxed, beautiful images of such majestic animals.

When photographing cats, guinea pigs, rabbits or any other small furries I would travel to your home to photograph them in their natural environment to ensure they are relaxed at all times. Having always owned small animals I know how easily frightened they are and I am more than comfortable handling small, very cautious pets, ensuring they are relaxed so that I am able to create images you will treasure for many years. Cats often set their own rules when it comes to being photographed, which can often be a waiting game as to when they will allow you their time! I am very patient and will never put your pet under pressure to get the desired images.

PRICING

My pricing is simple; your shoot is £85 which includes reasonable travel from Lincoln and 10 high resolution files for you to download from your own secure, password protected gallery. Additional images are available at £5 per file and I also offer a range of products including albums, prints and wall art and I will happily work with you at no extra charge to provide a work of art to best tell your story. I like to set aside at least half a day to ensure your shoot doesn’t feel rushed and so that everyone involved has a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
